"My own plans are made. While I can, I sail east in the Dawn Treader. When she fails me, I paddle east in my coracle. When she sinks, I shall swim east with my four paws. And when I can swim no longer, if I have not reached Aslan’s country, or shot over the edge of the world into some vast cataract, I shall sink with my nose to the sunrise."
Reepicheep, The Voyage of the Dawn Treader
Well as some of you may be aware, this has been a fairly long process. 2020 has been a son of a gun for very many people. There's a weird feeling that crossing the arbitrary threshold of 2020 into 2021 will bring us a breath of relief, and I hope for all of you, and myself, that's the case.
However as I've come to learn lately, the struggle is part of the story. I hope your struggles aren't wasted; I hope your story is full of character development. I hope you can root for the protagonist, and be the encouragement you give to other people. Sometimes we reflect, sometimes we refract; sometimes we receive, sometimes we react. Here's to hoping that wherever you are, you can receive the encouragement to keep sailing, or paddling, or swimming.
